"The B.B.Q." restaurant opening in historic Boyne depot
(From the Petoskey News-Review) Music on the deck, warm cornbread, succulent barbecue sauce and a different steak special each week will be among the offerings at The BBQ, a soon-to-open restaurant in Boyne City. The BBQ is scheduled to open Monday, May 10 in the historic railroad depot building at 151 Ray St. Monty Wilhelm, owner and head chef of The BBQ, is aiming for a family-friendly setting with satisfying, quality meals at reasonable prices. Menu items range from a variety of steaks and sandwiches to Asian and Mediterranean salads and a children's menu, with prices starting at $4.95. For dessert, strawberry shortcake will be a dependable favorite, and each week, Wilhelm will offer a different chocolate concoction.
