Alpine Chocolat Haus opening Boyne City shop

Boyne City residents and visitors will soon be able to enjoy the same bounty of sweet treats presently offered by the Alpine Chocolat Haus at 208 W. Main St. in Gaylord at their own Alpine Chocolat Haus. On June 18, owner Bruce Brown will open his second candy store at the One Water Street development in Boyne City. According to Brown, he’d been considering a second store for years. The One Water Street site, developed by Gaylord-based Catt Development, is what sold him on taking the big step now. “I fell in love with the location and the spot where the store will be,” said Brown. “The development is right on the water and there’s a great restaurant there, Cafe Sante." Full story.
